SUMMER!

Well, most of my plans for this summer was kind of just chill, and hang out with friends till' school starts. But my mom had other ideas. We are having a "family summer". Which might sound boring to a lot of people, but it is actually really cool. We are going to get healthy by exercising and totally revamping our "blah!" garage. Then we get to plant pretty flowers all around our front yard to make it look inviting and happy. Another exciting thing about this summer is that one of my best friends,FranaZhea, is going to stay for like week-long sleep overs. Most of you are probably wondering why, it's because both her parents have really time consuming jobs that don't have summer vacations, so they always leave her home alone. So me being the awesome friend that I am, (sarcastic), I invited her to basically live with us this summer. Another cool thing that might happen this summer is that my awesome cousin Olivia might come and visit! Which is totally cool cause' I barely get to see her anymore even though she only lives two days away.  So that is something I am so looking forward to. Then we are going to take day trips to the Corpus Christi. Which will be so fun because I haven't seen the ocean in YEARS. And I used to visit it like everyday so that is basically torture for me.  And I might be able to take some friends with me! YEAH! And if we get really lucky, we will be able to visit some of our family in California. Goals I have for this summer is that I would really like to be able to at least me able to jog a mile so I won't die in P.E. And to get a really nice tan. LOL! The things I am looking forward the most this summer though, would probably being able to hang out with one of my bestest buddies for more than just a night.

Christian The Lion: Meaning Behind The Video

When I first saw this assignment, I was completely stumped as to what I would pick to write about. I mean, what video could you find on youtube that could possibly be written about in 25 sentences? So as I was aimlessly searching through youtube, I stumbled upon this video. At first glance I thought it was going to be dumb, because seriously, there aren't a lot  of very meaningful stuff on youtube. But then I watched it and it very nearly brought tears to my eyes. First I would like to tell you why it touched me. Along with my weird obsession with anime and books, I love animals. My best friend and I used to run around and pretend we were foxes or lions or any animal we could come up with. We were addicted to being something that seemed so free and alive. That is how we viewed them. But as we got older, we realized not all people saw animals the way we saw them. There are shows all over TV now that talk about how people abuse their animals because they don't see them as living, breathing beings, they see them as dumb animals that apparently have no feelings and are stupid. This totally shocked us. This is what kind of reminded me of what the people said to the men who raised Christian. About how he wouldn't remember the people who raise him because after all, he IS just an animal. So as I watched this I realized that what a lot of people think isn't true. As you watch Christian run towards the people who love him and raised him, you saw how happy he was to see them again. He hugged and licked them. And you also saw how happy the guys where that their little lion remembered them. That is why this story touched me so much. Because animals aren't just stupid beasts, they are smart and caring and have feelings just like people do. They are loyal to the people who raised them and took care of them. Even a wild animal like a lion can be loyal. Pretty amazing, right?

My Fantasy Day

OMG, where do I start? Well, probably I would start by walking up in my awesome mansion (it is fiction after all) and go down stairs to have a yummy breakfast. Then I would drive my porche down to the nearest Borders. I would spend hours just reading books. I know that sounds boring to most people but I am a total book person. They have all the adventures I need just nestled in between the pages of the spine. Books just enthrall me. And if I really wanted to make this fantasy crazy I would have all my favorite authors there for like a book signing or something. And I would be able to talk to them and ask the for advise on how to make my stories better. I mean, imagine how awesome that would be to meet like J.K Rowling or Stephanie Meyer. But if I wanted to make this fantasy even more nuts I would bring some of the most famous authors in history. like Shakespear or Jane Austin. I would love to meet these to particular people because they have written some of the most famous love stories ever. Okay, after I talked to all of my favorite authors and read as much books as I could I would drive to the airport and board my private jet to Maui. Then I would visit my best friend Elyse who I haven't seen in four years. Then her and I would go down to the beach and hang out, just catching up with each other. Then I would visit all my old friends from Doris Todd.  We would all laugh and talk and just get to know each other again. After I catch up with all my friends on Maui I would get back on my jet and fly to Japan. This may sound weird, but I love anime. And to me, it would be so awesome if I could go to the place where it all began. So I would probably spend hours walking around Tokyo and go into all the anime stores I could. I would probably take my friend Franazhea, because she is like OBSESSED with anime.  Then after that, we would fly back to Texas and rap up my day by having a sleep-over with all my friends and watching tons of movies.

Why Math, Why!?

I just realized something, I really HATE math. Not that I don't like the teachers who have taught me it, they have all been AWESOME, I just don't get IT! It's like, a bunch of gibberish to me. I mean, does this make sense to you? (*simplify* 44x2 +34y2x-45z2=45) (that was just a random equation I made up by the way) But it still shows how difficult math can be. And then my brain has some kind of like mental block that goes up involuntarily, that say "when am I EVER going to use this in my life!!" Yup, that is just how sad I am. Anyway, back to al the homework I have piled up in my room. And Hailie may come over so that is the one high-point in my day.
Adios peeps!

Homework, homework, and more homework

Hey people of the Blogging Empire, welcoming to my little part of this cyberspace domain! AND GUESS WHAT!? We have no school till' May 11! I am soooooo HAPPY! But all these teacher's at our school have decided that because they apparently have no lives they want to make ours as miserable as possible by piling us up with LOADS of homework. (no offense to any of the teachers that might read this blog, this is just what I think.) And if anybody can help me on the math equasion assignment I would be forever grateful. Well, at least I am done with all my other homework. For Thursday and Friday, anyway. But tomorrow starts a new day with new homework assignments. Ohhhh joy. Don't teachers ever remember being kids? And hating having to do homework when YOU ARE NOT EVEN AT SCHOOL!? I mean seriously, did they really like having homework or do they just like making us do busy work? So that is my whole opinion on the homework thing.
